Tai Chi Classroom Form 6. Down-Pull Continued from the preceding form. While inhaling, turn torso slightly rightward. Stretch arms to front right, at the same time, palms facing each other. Raise the right hand higher and farther than the left, with the right palm facing down, while the left hand is under the right forearm, with the left palm facing up. While exhaling, shift weight onto left leg and bend left knee into a sitting position. Pull the hands down to the abdomen, with the left hand higher than the right as if lifting a heavy object with rope and pulley. |
