Form 11. Brush Knees and Twist Step
Right Style:
Move right foot half a meter back to the right when
you are inhaling. Turn left palm outward to facing
diagonally up and right palm inward to face in.
While exhaling, turn left foot inward on its heel
and body to the right, while shifting weight to right
leg to do a "right bow stance". At the same
time, right palm brushes over knee to stop on the
outside of right thigh, palm faces down and fingertips
forward, while bending left arm, and pushing the left
hand by left ear in a down-and-up curve forward, palm
upright and chest-height. Look toward left index finger.
Left Style:
While inhaling, bend left knee, shift weight backward
onto left leg, and turn the body right and right foot
outward on its heel. Swing arms to rear right, right
hand higher than left hand. Right palm faces diagonally
up and left palm faces diagonally down. Look at right
hand
While exhaling, shift weight forward onto right leg,
and left foot passing by the inside of right foot
takes a step forward. At the same time, turn body
left. While left hand brushes over knee and stops
by the outside of left leg, palm faces down and fingertips
forward, right arm bends till palm, faces down, is
by right ear, and push the right hand in a down-and-up
curve forward, palm upright and chest-height. Look
toward right index finger.
Repeat the right and left posture each five times.
