Citrine

Citrine, the “Stone of Wealth,” is burnt yellow-gold in color. It assists in bringing prosperity to your existence and maintaining it. It emits an elevated force which brings positive experiences into your life, while helping you to recognize the obstacles and challenges for the true gifts that they are. It is also known as a "merchants' stone," to be placed in cash register or where one conducts business, to not only acquire positive wealth but to maintain it as well.

Citrine is one of the only stones which dissipates negative energy, and never requires cleansing or clearing. Warm energy, promotes optimism. It is also helpful in stabilizing the emotions and relieving stress. It promotes the happiness, optimism, generosity, creativity and pleasure. Citrine is a clear yellow quartz. The dark color comes form iron. It helps to decrease depression, stomach tension, food disorders and allergies. It detoxifies the spleen, liver, urinary tract and intestines. It is electromagnetic. It helps to bring about mental and emotional clarity, problem solving, memory, will power, optimism, confidence and self- discipline. It aids in digestion. It may be used with the solar plexus.

Iron is the element which gives Citrine its warm golden color. Extreme heat, whether naturally occurring or applied by man, will turn amethyst into a burnt golden color. Technically, it is "burnt amethyst," but is usually categorized as citrine. We carry both types of golden quartz. Our specimens are from Brazil.
