These are the acupressure points for headache or migraines – back of the head. Working on these points can help you get better faster. You do not have to use all of these points. Using just one or two of them whenever you have a free hand can be effective.

Acupressure Point UB2 — Zan Zhu
Chinese Name: 攢竹

Location: on the medial end of the eyebrow, above the inner canthus.
Benefits: headache, blurred vision, failing vision, pain in the supraorbital region, tearing of the eyes, redness of the eyes, swollen eye, pain in the eye, twitching of the eyelids, glaucoma.

Acupressure Point LI20 — Ying Xiang
Chinese Name: 迎 香

Location: at the level of the midpoint of the lateral border of the nostril. in the hollow just outside each nostril.
Benefits: blockages of the maxillary sinuses, sinus headaches, upper respiratory problems, common colds, nasal blockages, shortness of breath, face-lift point.

Acupressure Point GB19 — Nao Kong
Chinese Name: 腦空

Location: directly above GB 20, on the lateral side of the external occipital protuberance.
Benefits: headache, stiffness of the neck, vertigo, painful eyes, tinnitus, epilepsy.

Acupressure Point GB20 — Fen Chi
Chinese Name: 風池

Location: below the base of the skull, in the hollow between the two large, vertical neck muscles, two to three inches apart depending on the size of the head.
Benefits: occipital headache, dizziness, pain and stiffness of the neck, pain in the shoulder, fever, common cold, whiplash, hypertension, weakness of the whole body.

Acupressure Point GV14
Location: below the spinous process of the seventh cervical vertebra, approximately at the level of the shoulders.
Benefits: neck pains, stiffness, fever, epilepsy, cough, asthma, common cold, upper backach.

Acupressure Point GV20 — Bai Hui
Chinese Name: 百會

Location: center of the top of the head where the line connecting the high points of your ears crosses the body midline until you feel a slight dip.
Benefits: headache on the top of the head, dizziness, insomnia, poor memory, hot flashes, epilepsy, mental disorders, good for memory and concentration, ringing in the ears, blurred vision, nasal obstruction, low energy, prolapse of the rectum.

Acupressure Point UB40 — Wei Zhong
Chinese Name: 委中

Location: midpoint of the transverse crease of the popliteal fossa, between the tendons of muscle biceps femoris and muscle semitendinosus.
Benefits: lower back pain, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, viral infection, bacterial infection, arthritis, fever, falling hair, falling eyebrow, pain in the lower extremities, sciatic neuralgia.

Acupressure Point UB60 — Kun Lun
Chinese Name: 昆侖

Location: in the depression between the external malleolus and tendo calcaneus.
Benefits: lower back pain, sciatica, radiculitis, numbness, headache, neck rigidity, blurred vision, backache, pain in the heel, epilepsy, fever, nosebleed.

Acupressure Point K3 — Tai Xi
Chinese Name: 太溪

Location: in the depression between the medial malleolus and tendo-calcaneus, level withe tip of the medial malleolus.
Benefits: balancing point, sore throat, toothache, deafness, hemoptysis, asthma, insomnia, impotence, frequency of urination, lower backache, swollen gums, palpitations, fear, emotions, anxiety attacks, vomiting, cold sores. “ever young point” to remove the age lines, to reduce the sensation of excessive heat or cold, side effects of radiation and chemotherapy.

Acupressure Point LI4 — Hoku
Chinese Name: 合 谷

Location: At the highest spot of the muscle on the back of the hand that protrudes when the thumb and index finger are brought close together. Midway between the thumb and index finger approximately one body inch above the web.
Benefits: Relieves pain and inflammation in the hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder, and neck. Headache, red eye, pain in the eye, nose bleed, toothache, sore throat, facial swelling, fever, abdominal pain, constipation, delayed menstrual cycles, absence of menstruation in fertile women without pregnancy, PMS, delayed labor, to balance the energy in the body, side effects of radiation and chemotherapy in cancer patients

Acupressure Point LI11 — Qu Chi
Chinese Name: 曲池

Location: On the top, outer end of the elbow crease. bend your arm, press your thumb into the hollow located on the top, outer end of the elbow crease, directly above the elbow, between the elbow joint (below) and the muscle (above).
Benefits: food allergy, hives, vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, fever, sore throat, pain in the elbow and arm, tennis elbow, to balance the energy in cancer patients. Relieves allergies, particularly inflamed skin disorders (such as hives and rashes), itching, and fevers.

It is important to drink plenty of warm water after the massage, to help clear away toxic substances in our body.
